Threads of Intention is a creative arts therapy workshop for māmā in the Whau community, offering a safe, inclusive space to explore healing, identity, and connection through artmaking.

Grounded in hauora (holistic wellbeing) and guided by values of whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, and self-determination, the weekly sessions weave together beading, sewing, and collective art-making as tools for reflection, empowerment, and storytelling.

Held by Creative Arts Therapist and Artist/Musician Bailey Wiley, Threads of Intention invites women from all backgrounds to reconnect with themselves and each other — nurturing confidence, creativity, and the shared joy of making with heart and intention.
