Join Kauri as we delve into the realm of Hine-pū-te-hue (the Atua of peace and gourds). Together, we will kōrero on how to grow and nurture hue for the coming season. You will also receive seeds to take home to begin your own journey into growing these beautiful taonga.

 

We will also explore the multitude of ways that hue can be utilised, like taonga pūoro (singing treasures), ipu (containers) and water carriers/bottles. You will also create and take away your own taonga pūoro made from a hue called a koauau ponga ihu.
