Modular Poetry Workshops – a vibrant mix of craft, collage, poetry, and music

Join the Wordcore Wayfinders for a free, family-friendly creative adventure in the Whau!

This participatory series invites the public to step inside the creative process—crafting words, sounds, and images that map the stories of our community. Through a sequence of free poetry-craft workshops from February to May, participants will experiment with collage poetry, spoken word, improvised music and collaborative art-making guided by local artists.

The journey culminates in a public exhibition showcasing works born from these sessions—a celebration of Whau voices illuminated through sound, text, and visuals.

Wordcore is an intermedia arts collective that craft experiences through project-based activations, exhibitions, and workshops. We promote storytelling and community engagement.
