TE POU was a theatre space founded by Ruia Taitea Creative, that found its home in the Whau between 2015 and 2018. In September 2018 it relocated to Corban Estate Arts Centre in Henderson. Ruia Taitea Creative built their space based on the kaupapa Māori fundamentals of aroha, manaakitanga and Whānau. You do not need to be Māori to work here, any group or individual who is interested in growing their work based on these principles is more than welcome to come and work in the space! Nau mai haere mai! We wish them all the best in Henderson.
