About Mr Jew
Mr Jew is an experienced studio photographer who knows how to capture great portraits using either professional lighting or what you can find around the house. Born in Gisborne he now lives in Auckland where he takes photos of people and landscapes, documenting his everyday surroundings. He started doing pop-up photography studios in his own house using lighting and props that were to hand after he graduated from Unitec. Most recently he worked with Janet Lilo and Whau the People to create the pop-up photo studio Fam Bam in the Avondale Markets.
This project is realised in collaboration with the Blockhouse Bay Library
