“After a five-year hiatus, it is a pleasure to re-start and rebuild Hālau Ka Waikahe Lani Mālie affectionally known as The Hula Journey.
I have been appointed Po’o (head) of the Aotearoa branch and am the practicing Kumu (teacher) of our hālau.
I am especially proud to know that I have a hula family across the globe and have had the pleasure of dancing with more than 300 of my hula family at our show in Honolulu, Ko Ka I’ini, celebrating Kumu Blaine’s 30th Anniversary of teaching around the world in 2017.
We welcome you to join our hula family and experience this wonderful hula journey
with us.”
