Onewherowhero Hapori Whānui Rōpū
This newly formed community kapa haka group based in Kelston open to new members that wish to learn kapa haka in a friendly and open space.
“Whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, aroha, and wairuatanga are core values of our group. We are a welcoming, inviting group, open to all whānau that want to learn kapa haka. We have members of all ages, whānau usually come as groups with their tamariki and pēpī, and some are kaumatua attending with their mokopuna. We are an intergenerational space, of all levels of Māoritanga, some are brand new to this, some have been in it their whole lives.”
