In March 2016 What The People launched All Goods – an arts space that champions neighbourhood arts and creative expressions in all its diversity. Building on the success of a range of recent art projects in the area, All Goods was a space that hosted exhibitions, performances, workshops, talks, screenings, meetings, parties, a children’s gallery, and everything else in between.
Access to the building at 1875 Great North Road, Avondale was been made possible thanks to the support of a local businessman, who provides a greatly reduced rent and a highly successful Pledge-me campaign.
Having a “home” meant that Whau The People could take on even more projects and provide more opportunities for the local community to do cool things.
They closed in December 2016 and have continued to do pop-up projects in the Whau.
Whau the People are always on the look out for a good home.
